Triangular el sur takes place on the island of Tenerife and focuses on the non-hegemonic religious practices present on the island. These practices are understood as technologies that allow territories to be reinvented, constantly resisting gentrification and tourism, which threaten the diversity of life.

These sometimes take the form of migrants with Afro-Abya Yala accents, plants from the Tertiary era, coconut shells, the “internet of candles,” anti-racist demonstrations, the return to Africa of Afro-Venezuelan drums, the birth and quick death of a saint, or hotels that recreate the rooms of a vaguely Greco-Roman palace, while their architectural plan reproduces the contours of 18th-century slave ships.
